On September 18, 2025, upon the official invitation of the Embassy of the French Republic, an international scientific conference titled “Kazakhstan Archaeology: Achievements and Prospects for Developing Bilateral Cooperation between Kazakhstan and France” was held in Paris.

At the conference, within the framework of the Shakarim University research project BR24992916 “Comprehensive Historical and Archaeological Study of the Abai Region,” renowned archaeologist Professor Zeynolla Samashev delivered a presentation on “New Archaeological Discoveries in East Kazakhstan.”

This scientific event highlighted the significance of cooperation between Kazakhstan and France in the field of archaeological research and provided an opportunity to present new findings to the international scientific community.
